Thanks, rip, for your kind words!
Gave a reading today of " In the Cellar of My Soul," as well as "Whisper in My Ear." The former to be published soon, the latter has been already.
With gratitude for your encouragement.

CoCo! Nobody does despair better than YOU!
And yet, I always feel that all is right with the world when you show up here...............
Dear, dear Bee!
Thank you so very much for your welcome post.
The good news is that now, at this, the happiest time of my life, I can draw up any emotion from my well of a life lived sad and despairing and use it objectively in my writing.
I'm still a flawed human, subject to pain of the heart, but the despair is gone . . . really.
Love to you and your lucky hubby,
CoCo de la Guerison

How well I understand. The ability to stand outside oneself and be able to describe one's despair is the ultimate survival tool. You do it well and graciously.
Alive in hell with a kindred spirit is better
than life in paradise with the likes of you.
Amidst lovely flora and playful fauna, yet
I yearn for your touch, your kind word.
Body's beauty is outward, sterile, of no use
to me while I long for the flawed but loving
Soul that once you were . . . perfection is
not so perfect after all . . . take me home.
Coco, your words are always so beautiful and haunting. Hope everything is Ok.
Is "she" the cold cruel world? I'm pointing to your OP poem, Coco.
Thanks, rip and FHN, for your posts. No, FHN: people -- warts and all.
Always appreciated . . .
Sad, sad day.
Love,
CoCo
CoCo, I'm sorry that you're having a sad day. I hope you feel better soon.
