As much as I love bad media about JWs this isnt a regular JW issue, this guy is even more of a nut-job than the usual stupid dubs. Youd think after botching his own cock-mod he wouldnt then put his little son through it too. I agree he should be taken away from this crazy father.

The Jehovah's Witness church does not condone or forbid circumcision.

The guy's got some real serious mental problems if he, as a JW, thought circumcision made things right with God, tried to do that to himself, botched it, didn't learn from it, then later tried the same thing on his poor 4 year old son! I can barely imagine the trauma that kid has gone through - horrific. I hope the father also gets the treatment he needs.

Which brings to the fore the question of Abraham's competence to perform a circumcision. I wonder how many Jewish boys (in the past) lost their penis because of someone's incompentence?
And, the question of ritual circumcision (brit milah) in contemporary Judaism: after the mohel performs the cut, the tradition has been to place his mouth over the wound. So if the mohel has herpes, the child is in danger of being infected, as the UK Daily Mail reports two deaths and 11 infections in NY between 2000 and 2011.
NB. Many scholars seem to think that primitive circumcision involved the removal of only the very tip of the foreskin.
