Me too, Joe Grundy, I applaud you for bringing this gross and deplorable practice to the attention of everyone here.
It is important to remember that this practice comes from a particular part of the world, and stamping it out requires the skilful mediation of those familiar with, and preferably of, the cultures that embrace it.
It is, of course, despite one misleading post above, absolutely nothing to do with God.

This is an issue which I don't think we should overlook, however 'politically incorrect' it may be.
I will be writing to my newly-elected 'Police and Crime Commissioner' but I don't expect any great response.
