  Hope you get better soon Wha, it aint no fun when the old bowels start to rebel.

  I am about to enter a period of similar problems, but mine will be finite, if they emerge at all.

  I have just started a course of Anti-biotics, if these are the same ones I took a year or so ago, they are damn sneaky, what you think is just a bit of gas turns out to be incredibally explosive and more substantial than just gas, and there is no delaying getting to the John !

  It only lasted for 2 days before, perhaps I'll get away with it this time, but I shall take Billy Connoly's advice and "Never trust a fart".

  oh they gave us Tamaflu. Turns out we're allergic. Both of us. Almost on cue we start shivering like mad from extreme chills for about an hour. Then on cue, projectile vomiting. that was a lot of fun

  I caught the 'flu that is going around here in the South of England, seems to affect some worse than others, but it is pretty mild,

  compared with what you are suffering Wha.

  I then went and got my Flu Jab, to prevent me catching it , what we call here doing things "arse about face", the antibiotics are for an infection that I seem to have picked up since all that.

  I think my immune system is not what it used to be, I used to go years without even a sniffle !

  I really must eat more fresh fruit and veg, at present my 5 a day consists of 5 pints of ale !

  Sorry to hear you're still ill. I had pneumonia twice last year and I thought I was going to die. Get plenty of rest, although I know that's sometimes hard to do. Hope both of you get better soon. Never tried frozen grapes. I'll try them.

  I forget you're local but I'm at the point where I"m adding oatmeal and soup. wifey had oatmeal and so far so good. The narco finally gave her a night of sleep.

  I'm rethinking this whole flu shot thing. I've never had one and neither has wifey

  Ginger tea!!! :D Best thing on earth. Put some honey in it and enjoy. And use REAL GINGER, not those packets. IT's dead easy to make.

  I eat frozen blueberries all the time but haven't tried grapes. Don't eat too many, though... ;)

  I think I'm past the curve. Now to clean this awful apt. It's had the run of 2 kittens for 3 weeks. clothes to wash, sheets, blankets. oh well. At least I'm up to it without projectile vomiting.

  My wife is a ginger tea fan. it really works.
