I got a email from a close friend "Estimado Arboles

A bastard is moving next door to me, he is a phucking lying ahole JW, him and his family are moving up the ranks in the JW Holy Roller World. I enjoy smoking weed outside, I never planned on being df'ed but I fear he saw me smoking and now I am waiting for a JC. My medical weed is from a doctor to gain weight as I suffer from chronic back-pain with no appettite."

I told the friend the elder has no business talking to him about his medical condition. The elder he is mentioning is a raging drunk, takes oxycontin and other hard core medications. What advice could you offer, the elder saw him smoking a "fattie" and now my friend is fearful. Advice anyone?

This elder has gone to bat for multipule pedophiles, I thought this might help you understand my friend's plight. I told him to put pro Obama or Romney stickers and pro "Medical Mary Jane" signs Colorado and Washington State will send you free.

I would say that elders only have the power over you that you give them. If your friend really feels the need to respond to them, show them his doctor prescription.

Does he have any witnesses to the alleged event that can back him up? Failing this the medical reason will hopefully work

Let him ask and show him the prescription . . . and then make a point of sitting outside suckin' on a bong with a big grin on his face every time he goes past.

There's nothing that can be done on the basis of a single witness to an incident.

If he starts to take photo's of your friend in his garden, there may be legal implications of that - peeping tom, stalker, invasion of privacy sort of things.

Personally I wouldn't show my private doctors prescriptions to anyone.

First, only if directly asked, I would suggest he simply deny that he uses "any illegal drugs". If questioned further, simply state: "I have nothing further to discuss about it."

Only one witness to anything cannot (officially) result in any congregation action.

If he's called into a Judicial Meeting, again deny, and demand to face his accusers (plural). If they somehow come up with at least TWO witnesses to his "smoking", they he can state clearly "I said I never use any ILLEGAL drugs. I take xxxx drug for high blood pressure; xxxx drug for depression; and medicinal MJ AS PRESCRIBED for yada yada yada."

Many JWs go out of the USA (for example to Mexico) to seek medical treatment that is "illegal" in the US and they return with "medication" that would be illegal to dispense in the US. Have them write to the Society and ask what is the difference.

Need more than one eye-witness. Avoid any conversations with any jws...just hi, goodbye and on your way. Don't volunteer anything. I'll say this I had 2 older lady neighbors and they turned in the guy next door for growing weed, not a jw amongst them.
