    If I was to be religious/spiritual I would pick Tinkerbell worship is the real religion. It is as true as any other - just as Tinkerbell is as provable as any other God.

    If you don't like the term religion, then simply change it to Tinkerbell Spirituality.

    The only difference between Tinkerbell Religion and Tinkerbell Spirituality is that some think and believe that because it is called a religion now they have to listen to what people impose...Tinkerbell spirituality lets you live according to how you feel at the moment (and you can always find a way to justify it) but still claim a relationship with Tinkerbell.

    I would think that true religion would be to love jehovah and jesus with all your heart.. give to the poor...love your neighbor and to respect the earth and the environment..preach the word..and to be a good christian

    However the scriptures outline the congregation..the qualifications of elders and (ministerial servants..deacons) so i think god would not have outlined these things if we were to just stay home and not associate with people in congregations..Hebrew 10: 23 & 24..

    So when one leaves the wt that puts us in a dilema as far as who to congregate with ?? Im sorry but i havent a clue either.

    I do not believe there is only one way to God. Every human is different so why should there only be one religion or one way to worship? I believe finding inner harmony and connecting with your inner spirit connects you to the Supreme Being. This for some may be from studying the bible, for some it may be through meditation, and for others it may be through nature. Find your way....what makes you at peace and feel that closeness and you have found your true spirituality

    I think it's interesting that Jesus didn't set up any kind of pecking order. He could have set up a system with titles for those spiritually governing the rest. He didn't. Instead, He said to follow Him. It wasn't until after He was crucified that this notion of having to set up titles and responsibilities started.

    He made it simple...a relationship with Him...one that transforms you from the inside...changing your heart...and your life...motivating you to be guided by Him in all you think and say and do.

    What is the true religion anyone have a clue?
    I would love to know, if anyone does have a clue;

    I have noticed that Witness's say the elders were appointed by holy spirit, how do they know did they see it, it just dawned on me that all of it has been based on the premise that I had to have faith in what they say rather then substantiated facts;

    Given what you already said above, how do you know if anyone who thinks so does in fact have a clue? Tao and others have already made the more important points. If anyone does "have a clue" it would mean you also knew enough to recognize there's something in what they're saying. Just don't allow your healthy skepticism to turn into an arrogance based on ignorance, you'll never learn anything then. I will say one thing, some of the more reasonable religions, even though they are called religions are not considered religions by some. They are only religions simply if you define religion as things which people hold as sacred.

    The way i see it is that the question is presumptive and applies only to theists. Some may even go so far as to say true religion is an oxymoron. A better question is Is there true religion or Is there a god?

    That's just my two cents.

    There are in fact religions which do not involve the concept of God, that is why some Christians will also consider themselves Buddhist and read people like Thich Nhat Hahn, for example. Perhaps the reason that we think it is a requirement for religion is because that is all we know, and we insist upon our own definition of the word, consciously or unconsciously.

    My take on this whole mess of religion and truth is.....STOP LOOKING!!!I agree with many points others have brought out in this thread. My own condensed version is this, you are created with a spiritual capacity, use it, explore it, that's what it's there for. Noble motives are a definite plus in my opinion. Good luck!

    Who says you have to have a religion? Personally, I have absolutely no religous convictions and am infinitely happier because of it.

    I don't feel like Satan but I am to them.
