Ok lets leave the atheism, belief in god aside for a bit and remember that we all have something in common and that we are a unique group of people on this very big planet.

Lets all have a giggle about our old lives,

What was the craziest, most laughable thing that we used to do or observed as a JW ?

Was it just me that used to add echo in the sound booth, just for giggles? "and that is why we worshp Jehovah-hova-hova-ova-ova-ova-va-va-va"

All the brothers under the age of 35 turn around with a knowing smile because they have long dreamed of being brave enough to twist that knob!

Yeah, I was a real captain of bravery lol !

lol unstop, yeah... like it was life or death.

What about the day you reached the dizzying heights of car park attendant... watching over he elders nice cars (apart from when a big football game was on). Or being the door attendant.... wow, amazing times.

To think I was head over heels if I could hold a roving microphone. What was I thinking lol ! ?

Just goes to show the power of suggestion, call being in charge of cleaning a privelage and it becomes one! (pink for the sink, blue for the loo- gloves)

craziest, in a pathetic kinda way... as a teen, I used to go to several district conventions every summer, for the socializing ... new pen pals, and BOYZ!

Every minute at the KH and WT activites was a minute away from my pedophile father...not funny I guess but true.

I liked the conventions and assemblies but did not get to all of them due to limited finances in our family. I liked working in the cafeteria talking to the other workers and the people that came through. I liked singing at the KH but then the songs were a little better than today. Probably my least thng was d2d because I was fairly shy and not comfortable running into kids from school. But at least I wasn't at home with "dad." The book study conductor always treated us to soda or hot chocolate afterwards.

I grew up in the days of Knorr, F. Franz, Schroeder, and Schwingle as speakers. Many personal opinions flew out of their mouths at conventions/assemblies. They weren't as controlled by the WTS then. Many a loose cannon.

Oh yah, as a female I was not officially allowed to do much except I could have done any job in the cafeteria. Having so many male family members with privileges who found them burdens, I was not sad about not qualifying.

The funniest thing I did was make comments that were good but made some conductors squirm.

Craziest laughable thing? Yea, uh I walked into a KH because I thought God was there. And then I handed over my entire life. Yep, that's about it.

I think the only thing I liked were certain brothers or sisters who would make comments. At a book study somebody said that terrorists blow themselves up to get 72 virgins in the afterlife. The one brother then said out loud "72 virgins, blow me up now!"
