Good for you! Its very healing to get it over with. I wrote a novel back in 97. I had just read Crisis and I was nutso mad. But I DID send a shitload of those to people I cared about and hoped they would read some of it. That way when it was announced in the hall there wouldnt be all this speculation about why...they would KNOW why. And Im hoping that letter went into a file on me somewhere and somebody else found it one day and read it too out of curiosity.
But it was DONE and I could exhale and not have to wonder or worry or live in that GREY area between worlds any more.

Did you send it to the HQ in Brooklyn? The letter then will have to trickle down to the local elders, getting more involvement.
