I compsed the following 3 pieces of music.

Tell which one you like best and why, please.

If you don't like any of them that's okay, too:)

    Van Gogh Among the Sunflowers

I prefer Van Gogh among the sunflowers. It may be because it is triggering a strong image of Van Gogh's paintings of sunflowers. His mental illness brings a certain romanticism to the music. My gut feeling.

I also like the Van Gogh piece. (I love his painting "The Starry Night")

I like how the music starts out simply and then builds as more instruments and "voices" are added.

I like the brief complex part in the middle of the music. (reminded me of Mozart)

I like the "tambourine" and the "flute" towards the end of the music.

    Very nice :-)

It is something short of amazing how much a title affects the state of mind in the listener.

For me, that's really the toughest part of it!

    Thanks.

I like all three pieces. I closed my eyes and listened, saw more of beach and stones than Van Gogh and sunflowers.

I couldn't waltz to the waltz piece -- tried, may have lost the knack of picking up the right beats

    Thanks, very pleasant half hour.

In this instance my waltz probably should be called 3/4 time because I can assure you I had no dance in mind!

It was more mood and lilt.

So, Terry, which one is your favorite? The title conveys an image and your brain is already set up. Van Gogh presented the most vivid image of a much beloved painter. I pay good money to see special exhibitions of his work. Perhaps it was the best piece, however.

    I enjoyed all of them.

I like all three, but I saved Van Gogh to my playlist. (I'm really picky, that's a compliment I promise.)

I think it's the best and I'll be listening to it a lot.

I don't think that decision was influenced by the title since I just popped all three of them open at the same time and listened to them in no particular order. Didn't really realize what it was called until it was over.

Terry, amazing compositions. I can truly see the passion you have for music. I used to, but my creativity has hit a dead end for now, so it would seem. Maybe one day I'll pick up the arts again.

They really are all great, but I liked the second one most, the so called waltz. It's what I was in the mood for today. It really has that sinister, phantom of the opera feel at times, more somber and melancholic throughout though, really.

I'm so impressed with creative people -- not many people could compose something like those lovely pieces.
