I like the idea about labels. The human computing machine, the psyche, likes to name and catagorize it helps it calculate, and in some cases try to absolutize which creates all sorts of paradoxes and has a tendency to make thought loops as well as pigeon holes a person who accepts the label, and attempts to conform to it.

And also the fact that if someone claims to know the purpose of the universe with absolute answer,he has no bases in any reliable proof. Another words he is liar, both to himself(he fell victim to wishful thinking) and others.

The isoteric math being 99.9999% certain no one knows, but not 100%.

I mean I feel relatively certain but not 100% that know one could discribe with certainty the purpose of an intelligence in making everything based psyche alone I know people talk of "cosmic consciousness" Which is in my understanding an enlargment of the conscious ego to include larger dimentions space and other things. I beleive it possible but if that is the case I would think it be not expressible in human words and some other form of experience.

Our DNA seems to make us hard wired to be explorers of the world around us from before the time we were even born I wounder where that will eventually take us.

It's a BIG step, and a misstep, imo. Those miniscule spirits can manifest in some ways, but the omnigod can't? Something is wrong w that step that you suggest.

I never said that God can't manifest Himself. But when He does it, it's always a bigger production. God has manifested Himself to prophets and holy men ever since the world began. And He's always left witnesses. Not only did Moses see Him face to face, but later seventy elders of Israel, and a few others, not only saw Him, they dined in His presence. And the apostles of old were transfigured on the mount with Jesus, Moses, and Elijah, all of whom they saw for an extended time. All of the apostles, with the exception of Judas, also stayed and conversed with Jesus for 40 days off and on after His resurrection. That's a long time to spend with someone who was crucified, then resurrected.

God is omnipotent, but not omnipresent. He is the Father of all spirits, but those who remain behind after death are those who, for whatever reason, don't want to move on until they're ready. I've studied numerous near death experiences and the consistency makes me think that many are telling the truth. For the good, decent, honorable people who move on after death, they find great peace and growth. Those who remain behind can become bitter and morose. But my point is that if atheists are correct in saying that science can answer all questions, there shouldn't be hauntings, for that would suggest that man has an eternal nature. It also is indicative of the fact that we all have our free moral agency, and that even after death, God will not force anyone to move on until they're ready. I also think there are evil spirits that have never lived in mortality. These can mimic children or those who have gone on, which means we have to try all spirits that seek us out and not try to seek them out.

I'll always love science...and astronomy. I'm fascinated by the richness and size of the universe, of black holes and dark matter; however, with all the things that science has revealed, I've never found anything that would lead me to doubt God's existence. In everything, there are those things that act, and those things that are acted upon. That's the whole creative process.

Creationists like to insist that the universe must have a purpose. But not just any purpose. Believers insist that the purpose 'must' involve us (humans). It's an extremely arrogant opinion to hold. And it would mean the universe is an extraordinary waste of resources.

Yes, religionists do believe the creation of the universe involves them. God, after all, created man in His image. And not only this earth was created for mankind, but we LDS (Mormons) believe that the number of earths created exceed the grains of sand on the shore. In one of our books of scripture, Moses is shown a great vision of the creation of the earth and the extent of God's creations: "And it came to pass that Moses looked, and beheld the world upon which he was created; and Moses beheld the world and the ends thereof, and all the children of men which are, and which were created; of the same he greatly marveled and wondered. ... And the presence of God withdrew from Moses, that his glory was not upon Moses; and Moses was left unto himself. And as he was left unto himself, he fell unto the earth. And it came to pass that it was for the space of many hours before Moses did again receive his natural strength like unto man; and he said unto himself: Now, for this cause I know that man is nothing, which thing I never had supposed."

This scripture also states: "And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose.... And the first man of all men have I called Adam, which is many. But only an account of this earth, and the inhabitants thereof, give I unto you. For behold, there are many worlds that have passed away by the word of my power. And there are many that now stand, and innumerable are they unto man; but all things are numbered unto me, for they are mine and I know them."

I can only speak for my own sect, but I have to admit that I know a Pentacoastal who believes the rest of the universe was created only for the people of this earth. You know, to spice up the heavens. To her, it's not that difficult. God speaks and there it is. One universe or five hundred, doesn't matter. To me this is absurd. This earth took a considerable time to create and I don't believe God speaks anything into existence; but there are many different religions and sects and there are varying views.
