I would like to add that their are at least 10 in my immediate and extended family who have left the witnesses over the years but have no desire to be engaged in any ex-jw sites .
So my thinking is , using this site and many other ex-jw sites , their must be, even if you halve my example from 10 to 5 , their must be a tremendous amount of fallout from the religion over the years who do not get recognized , in other words they are not disfellowshiped ,they are not disassociated , and as such they are not officially shunned , they just drift away .
Maybe this needs another thread ....sorry

I'm one of those. Or at least as far as I know, I'm not df'd, haha!
And the same applies to many of my extended family. They don't post on exJW boards (most don't even use facebook) but there's at least 10-20 ppl in my family who are like this, most of whom didn't even get baptised.
