"WHO ARE YOU??? and who did you get in here????"
To which Leslie says "I'm a locksmith, and I'm a locksmith"

TR--hunny, darling, dear--what the hell happened to your pic profile????
Interesting site ,though I doubt I will ever be in the lock picking business .thanks for the link.
Butalbee,
Do I sense a bias against Ugly-ass people? Huh? LOL! BTW, can I pick the lock on your chastity belt?

So TR, what is the best lock to buy for an apartment door? Thank you.
Ven, LOL!
Ever see that movie with Martin Short and Nick Nolte? They rob a bank and try to escape to Canada. Can't remember the name of the movie, but Nolte plays a locksmith that just got out of prison. Funny!

Hi Dutchie.
Find a locksmith that sells 'Medeco' locks. 'Level 6' Medeco, preferably. The door should be a good solid core wood door, or a semi-commercial metal door with a wrap-around metal plate that covers the holes in the door before the lock is installed. There also needs to be a very strong door jam with a heavy-duty strike plate that is installed with at least 3 inch screws. With this set up, the lock is virtually pick-proof and drill proof, and door will be so hard to kick in, it won't be worth trying. Not cheap, but if you want real security, that's it.
Hope that helps.
