    SILLY GIRL:

I would imagine "fading" in a strange place is easier than doing it in your hometown where so many people know you.

The anonymity is great because you can be yourself and breathe free!

    Best of luck.

Aww, you guys are so nice :-)

Problem with me is that this particual elder sends me an email/sms if I dont turn my FS report in by the 5th of every month. And dad's an elder in the same cong so everyoe would know the instant I stop sending it in.

Musical congregations (haha, good one!) is probably the best idea.. if only I can manage to get myself to those sessions and last the entire one without puking xP
I know I should be so grateful to have this option of fading while away from home. I live somewhere where its so easy to just take a train to another country for the weekend - so much easier than going to the meetings ey?

Thank you all for the moral support. You have no idea how much better I feel.

PS: This thread has my FIRST post on an "apostate" site, And i don't feel an ounce of guilt. This is good :-))))

silly-Welcome! I like the fake letterhead, and address idea. Maybe someone here has the standard request wording written down somewhere too, that way it would sound official. Have a great time in Europe!

So just turn in an 'average' report every month and be done with it. You can count your time here if it helps. I'm in 'another' country now and it helps that they don't speak English. Avoid showing up at any 'english' speaking congregations and you are good to go. Just have them send you card to a cong in another city.

    Fake the letter.

Use fake letterhead, use a friend's address for the KHall address, and pretend to be the body of elders from your host country's congregation writing the letter.

Your cards will be sent to you and the elders in your home cong will assume that your records are now in the hands of the elders of the new congregation.

Sorry Team, but I don't think that will fly anymore. The Cong Sect's address is available online for every congregation (at least in the US). Every BOE has access to the information.
