i would posit that it's easier to obtain the nastiest hard core porn than to obtain even a cap gun. after all, if i want a cap gun i at least have to go upstairs and retrieve the package from amazon and pay the credit card bill. I can get hard core porn in less than 10 seconds right here on my laptop without even standing up.

Not necessarily completely true upon known facts but there was a recent journalistic TV program showing how easy it was to purchase
an assault rifle such as the AK-47 at a gun show by just showing personal identification ( Drivers License )
Mind you both should be perceived to create their own entailing damages in a given population.

guns are less controlled because of the second amendment and the insane power the NRA wields over politicians. It's crazy. The group only has like 4 million members but has a crazy amount of influence among politicians on both sides of the aisle.
