    You gotta love Bethel, you donate to keep them running, you pay for the flights, hotel, transportation, meals, you provide the raw labor, is any of that enough? Hell no, give up your points too!

    And yeah, Shamus, that's the sign of a cheap company I wouldn't want to be anywhere near.

    One of my employess left and went to work in the IT dept at Bethel. He was there about 5 years and then left. He does well in the private sector.

    I am sure they are like the scrooge corporations that require their employees to sign over their frequent flyer and hotel points...I highly doubt the big travelers from the WTS get to keep any miles or points. The attitude of "our money, our miles" likely prevails...though it is the R&F JW's money!

    Their IT dept is weird. I have made a few calls on them in a consultative capacity, they don't really partner with their vendors, they refuse any call until they need something, they say "here's what we want" and push back on any suggestion to consider other options. Most customers love being kept up to day, like to hear other ideas and ask the vendor to do the heavy lifting on the design work.

    oh EP. They know they have to deal with satan in order to purchase whatever evil equipment they need. But they certainly aren't going to buddy up with any of satan's minions.

    The purchasing dept called my company once, out of the blue. They didn't know my company was owned by a dub. They were trying to unload a bunch of old displays and were just calling everyone. It was old crap equipment that was valueless.

    I'm glad I never dealt with them on a more formal basis. I couldn't live with the bloodguilt

    most dubs including my grandparents would donate the rewards thinking that they were giving to god! All the wts has to do is ask and some dubs would donate the ones they had accumilated off of non jw related travel....so sad
