An interesting YouTube experiment, JWs straying onto an "apostate" channel

    Hi everyone

Some time ago I uploaded a video to YouTube that was a medley of different young ones singing "Listen Obey and Be Blessed." As you can imagine, it's rather creepy.

    Here it is...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU802oMCNVQ

My intention in making the video was twofold. Firstly, I wanted to show people the blatant brainwashing in the song by repeating the word "obey" towards the end. Second, I was curious to see whether many JWs would check out the video if there was no obvious apostate content either in the title or the video itself - only the "repeating" part and my website address at the end.

The video is already the second most popular video on my channel with over 8,000 views in only 3 months.

It is also humorous to observe some of the comments coming in from those JWs who are making the connection that the video isn't a tribute to the song, but a protest against it.

    Here are some recent comments...

    • I wonder how corrupt you are??
    • You made this? video look creepier than it really is.This is exploitation, propaganda coming from you.
    • Poor guy.....poor J.? Cedars
    • All jah children will live forever? :) and ever and ever. Apostates...the fiyah bun!

Anyway, I thought some of you might find this interesting. If any of you feel inclined to answer any of the YouTuber JWs, by all means go for it!

does enter his rest mean to die? So these little children are signing about it is a blessing and they should be happy to die.

'Enter into his rest' is JW speak for entering the new order. I think it comes from the scripture of Jesus being the lord of the sabbath, kind of a throwback to the Russellite Millenial beliefs
