I saw the show. I hope David Gregory doesn't have to start broadcasting Meet the Press from the Slammer.
It would be weird for the show to start "Live, from Washington District Jail, it's Meet the Press with David Gregory." And instead of interviewing "guests" he would interview "visitors."

Typical reaction from Authority, let's draw attention away from the point the guy was trying to make, and let's give others pause for thought before they attack the right to carry guns in any way.

So you think being in the press is a good reason to have a 30 round Mag?

Why doesn't this guy sent his kids to a gun free school as Moshe posted acouple days ago?
The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC's David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren't used (and weren't even allowed).

It had to be a fake magazine. since large capacity magazines are banned in DC, there is no way in hell could he have one.

Maybe one of his kids got one from the guards in school.

a smart person would have removed the spring and follower from the magazine, rendering it inoperable.

I heard they asked for permission from the DC police but were denied. So I guess he did it anyway... That's a dumb way to make a point. All of us reasonable and responsible gun owners know the heirarchy of criminality in today's world is the following. You have to be very careful even with a 2nd amendment.
1. Terrorism
2. Gun laws
3. Kiddie Porn

I don't know about DC gun laws, but, in NJ the only thing worse than a 30 round mag, is a modified 30 round mag.
