I always loved getting away on winter break. We usually went to Florida and now I live in Florida, so I vacation at home! Where did you go for your winter break? Skiing is not my cup o' tea--

Yep! Universities, colleges and public schools all close up for the Christmas break. I don't have to go back until January 2nd.

I took my Mom to The Hobbit IMAX 3D.... for Christmas... she didn't know she was celebrating, and if you told her she'd say she wasn't LOL..

and I celebrated my birthday, for the first time, yesterday, just dinner with some friends

It was a mexican place, they sang Happy Birthday to me with a sombrero (big mexican hat).. it was great, I'll try to post the picture later

and I'm off till the 2nd also ..

Yes....I took this time to come back to Texas to spend the Christmas holiday with my grandchilden. That is something I never ever celebrated with my own kids when they were at that young age thanks to this letter-of-the-law, joy depriving JW cult. Enjoy the warmth when I come back to Texas, because I'm in a very cold climate in upper Alberta, Canada.

I took vacation time and was off all of last week and through Christmas. Working 3 days this week.... but it is so dead that it doesn't really make sense to be here. Off tomorrow until the 2nd.

Went to see my son and family in Virginia, spent time with friends and family over vacation...and slept a lot.
