Next time you see some JWs at the coffee shop, eating a piece of pie and drinking coffee, rest assured they are not taking a break! Their laptop or tablet on the table is working to email the latest spiritual food-PDFs - and the longer they are in the coffee shop, the more time they can count- Yahoo!!- Jehoobah is casting his bread upon the waters at Starbucks, Paneras, Tim Hortons, McDonalds------

What's the rule then? 1 placement counted per email?

"Each time you give someone who is not baptized a COMPLETE electronic book, brochure, or magazine, you may count it as a placement. Material should not be sent anonymously or in bulk. Neither should it be uploaded to any other Internet web site."

How is that mimicking Christ???? Surely they can't find scripture to support that...
Does this mean that they're going to have to create a new category count in the yearbook for the "electronic transmission" ministry?

They can't create a separate category unless they're planning to change the field service report slip to add a column for "e-placements". As it is, all placements will be counted together by the publisher, with no way for the WTBS to know whether a publication was placed physically or digitally. And if they were going to change the report slip, they would have done it by now and made that change part of the Service Meeting instructions this past week.

E-placements The JWs are for sure going to go overboard with this. I'm sure they see it as a blessing and the org staying current. Just a few months before we hear people complain about being spammed by JWs. Watch the meetings for Field Service dwindle to just the one old pioneer that still thinks the Internet is from "the debil".

This is an example of numbers for the sake of numbers.
At least when the publications were printed, placements gave a reasonable estimate of what should be produced.
Counting emailed pdf filescreates no value at all.
