A lot depends on the congregation's service overseer. If he's a real rah-rah type, he views it as a feather in his cap if he can get X% of the congregation to slog through service on a holiday. On the other hand, if he's a normal human being, he downplays it and if anyone does show up on a holiday, he suggests return visits or letter writing, then he himself goes off "on a study" which turns out to mean "back to bed".
