I have come to this site for almost a decade. Even though I do not stop by much anymore, I wonder why it has not been upgraded or changed to a more modern format. It seems like it has basically just been left to what it was upgraded to several years ago. I am not trying to cause problems, as I do remember the emotional natrue of this sight. However, with being used to things like Facebook and Twitter. I just wonder when this one will see a little more of a modern format.

It seems to me, that people are so happy to have a site like this, they would post and reply on birch bark if need be.

Yeah, the current format is well past it's sell-by date!
There is a new version in the works. Just have to balance getting it finished with earning a living.
Shouldn't be too much longer now though.

I've gotten used to the site the way it is, flaws and all. Really...the only thing that needs improving is a way to automatically notify in case of PMs.

I like this site. This is the first discussion forum I ever joined. I will miss it. Though I am sure I will get used to the other; and probably come to love the perks that come with a newer format/server/layout/whatever ;)
