Interesting article on jwnewsnetwork. Thanks TylinBrando. On the subject of Australia can anyone tell me more about Viv Moritz? I met him at the last CA and did a search here but found little. But there was one response that seemed to imply he was shipped off to Poland to avoid trouble in Australia.

I know it has been reported that WTBTS lawyers said that the GB does not exist except as a theological arrangement. Since the transcripts of the Victorian/Child protection case are not available to read, it remains heresay. Assuming that it is true, was it a set up for this?

On October 6, 2012, at the Annual Meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses, held in Jersey City, New Jersey, U.S.A., during the discourse "When Does Jesus Appoint the Slave "Over All His Belongings"?", it was publicly announced that the worldwide Church of Jehovah's Witnesses (the slave of Christ) has just undergone a major re-structuring of 'doctrinal teachings' and asset ownership, the net result being that the church now claims it no longer has billions of dollars in assets or 'belongings' but is, from a legal position, an unincorporated association with no assets whatsoever.

In layman's terms what does this mean? Do you believe that this has more to do with the nu-light than the rising number of partakers?

How about providing that article that has the hierarchy listed?

Of course this won't get much press. Nobody but JW's and ex-JW's cares about JW's.

The part that grates me... not about the class action lawsuit obviously but related to the Working With Children card. July 2011 the Watchtower Society was charged with their complete failure to comply with these laws introduced back in 2005.

Five times they were summoned before the Victorian Courts to face these charges and they refused to appear or even send in legal counsel. So... the conservative coalition (surprise, surprise) government decides to drop the case altogether! Not in the public's best interest was the reason given. WTF!

Why do we keep electing these brain dead conservatives? They bitch and moan if Labor pursues a course and fails... but even when they do fail they at least bloody well TRY!
