When I was younger I would sneak to Karate classes at the local community center(taught for free), because as a JW we couldn't participate in any Martial Arts. In the couse of my life I have studied Hapkido,Tae Kwon Do,and Fu Jow Pai / Tiger Claw Kung Fu. Now in my mid 50's ,I'm studying Tai Chi and love it!

In my early days of learning the "struth"I was introduced to Judo , I made the big mistake of putting the "struth" ahead of Judo .
I really enjoyed participating in the sport .

Correct me if I'm wrong but the one thing I always thought that was good about martial arts was learning to fall. How to fall in a way to minimize additional bodily injury. My thought was that this is something that adults should learn to overcome the fear of falling that seems to come with age.
