Bathsheba was raped. About what should she repent?
She was new wife of a soldier, so she was probably about 13-14 years old. David was in his 50s at the time. She was summoned to the palace, and David does the wild thing with her. She is a young female in a strict patriarchy, AND no one denies the King.

Assuming arguendo that the facts are as stated in the Bible, Jehovah himself vindicates Bathsheba.
Nathan predicts violence and betrayal for David's family, which comes to pass. (Absolom, etc.) But Bathsheba's family (and they were divided in houses according to their mothers) functioned quite nicely. HER son became King, despite not being anywhere near the first born. HER family had peace, and her other sons seemed to have managed quite nicely.
And lastly, SHE is one of only five women listed in the ancestry of Jesus Christ.
Notice that David wasn't punished until he admitted the error. If he hadn't admitted his error, what would have happened to him?
Here is an idea. Let Tyrant David get sick and die. Then, let joke-hova resurrect the man Tyrant David had murdered, and give him back his wife and baby. That would have been the end of the matter.
