I was with my mother when she died; it is hard to be there, but you have the comfort of knowing that you did all you could and that she was with those she loved when she died.

I am sorry for your pain. It is a pain isn't it? I felt it acutely when I lost my mother.
What is so precious is that you were able to ease your mom's pain at the end.
