Maybe it is me ...

I was sitting there in the dark and thinking what shadow looked like what, and what that noise was outside and you know what came to mind. What a wonderful time to think about demons!

With that said, I have to say. Maybe I am some evil person, but I just can not help but laugh when I read the bible or hear anything from it. I mean, it is just so dumb! It is 2012, and we as a society actually believe in these gods on throwns and angels. LOL! We actually accept mythology in 2012 and have stories of 'Super strong' men and men getting swallowed by large fish. We believe an ark took all the animals and saved them from the flood and oh yeah, man is only six thousand years old and started in a garden of perfection.

I laugh so much at this and just get a kick out of all the crap and wonder what the hell was I ever thinking to buy this crap!

Plus, and I love this part. The selective recognition that Christians have. I mean, they pray for something over and over and nothing happens. They ignore it! They they pray for one thing and it happens, and 'Oh my God, I have been blessed by God!' and please ignore the things that did not happen, as that is just some "Grand plan I do not know about." Oh oh oh, and when terrible disgusting things happen in the world in which terrible things happen to kids. It was GOD, in all his amazing love, bringing his children back home.

Laugh, cry, but no believing in that silly crap anymore in my life. But then again, you know that I have not thought about in awhile ... DEMONS! LOL

Nice stuff Free2. Agree totally, so it's not just you.

And the whole demons and Satan thing is such a hoot!

How could a society that has rocketed into the Space Age hold on to so many Stone Age myths?...

I totally agree. I had the first (conscious) thought in this direction, when three years ago I came accidentally across a "Book of Mormon" that someone forgot in the tram.

I read a few pages in it and thought, that's a little crazy, how coule someone believe this? And then: wait a minute, are the bible accounts so much different from this?

Phones with cameras is clearly having the same effect.

There should have been a plethora of photographc evidence of psychic apparitions, ghosts etc. now most people have a camera permanently with them but I believe such supernatural phenomenon are shy of having their photograph taken so are moving to Africa where they believe there are fewer such devices.
