Just to let you know, I stopped believing in "ill timed" prophecy about 40 years ago, and boy has my life been a blessing as a result.

The technology that has resulted in great gains for some segments of humanity has also given a relative handful of men the power to destroy the world. The 20th century has in fact made Armageddon inevitable. The world might think it's sitting pretty right now because you have all this neat stuff, but I guarantee you that if they start lobbing nukes around that all the progress that civilization has made in the recent century will be erased in an afternoon.
Hhhhmmmm.... I didn't mention technology anywhere in my post. Technology is only a means to an end. It was the end I mentioned in my post (specifically: improved Quality of Life, decreased death rates, increased successful birth rates, increased standard of living, improved health and nutrition).
Of course, rather than deal with these unpleasant truths, which undermine the JW hypothesis that 'this century (since 1914) is the most troubled in all human's history', YK only points to technology (I presume you are referring to nuclear weapons) as 'the big evil which will precipitate the Apocalypse.'
Yes, nuclear weapons are powerful and potentially dangerous. So is fire. Would you like to get rid of that too?
Bottom line, I stand by my original post, the point of which you have not responded to. Let me make it easy for you (I assume from your photo you suffered brain damage due to a blow to the head).
