Watching "OUR WHOLE ASSOCIATION OF BROTHERS" for the meeting tonight, and we came to the part where the Japanese brother lost his two kids and wife. He went on to relate that Holy spirit helped him to cope with the loss. I came unglued! Why would Jehovah give this man Holy spirit to cope and not just save his family?

There is a dissconnect in my brain that i cannot put together. What i mean is, God physically helped this man cope, but did not physically help to keep his family alive? Help me with my flawed thinking.

God it feels good to be able to ask these questions without the fear of a JC!

Turn your brain off and then it is easy to be a JW.

MS...it will never make sense. Like the two witnesses on a bus full of dubs headed to an assembly in FL. Why didn't Jahs spirit jump on board and motivate the driver not to make the wrong turn???

Sorry bud, I deal with these cray questions to

Hi msconcerned, What more proof do you need that the WTBTS is a DANGEROUS CULT? Which is harder to believe that there is a God or that the WTBTS is Jehovah's organization on earth? To me the latter is the hardest to believe.

Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

    Robert

Wait until they review the Yearbook and cover the experience where publishers were saved because a plane crashed on their house while they were in the safety of the Kingdom Hall...imagine if they had stayed home that day instead of going to the meeting! You will hear comments like "Jehovah really protects his people who obey the command in Heb 10: 25-27 or that this should serve as a lesson if we have a habit of missing meetings...Not one JW will understand or dare say that their survival had nothing to do with where they were...but had to do with where they were not...they could have been at work, at the casino, Wallmart or at a brothel...as long as they were not where the plane crashed and they would have survived! By the way...tough luck for the 153 victims that were in the plane. If JWs had lost their life they would say that it was an unforseen event and circumstance befalls us all...

Ah yes, I remember the days when I first started to actually use critical thinking skills!

Watch out! If you keep it up, you may end up testing Christianity as a whole...then you might end up like all of us evil atheists on the forum!

NVR2L8 pretty much summed it up: All credit to Jehovah for saving lives and good happenings. Time and unforeseen occurances when lives are lost or outcomes are not so good.

Also, anything bad said about Jehovah's Witnesses is persecution while they are free to say bad things about "Christendom" and "Babylon the Great."
