TRUST ME on this one , your feelings are normal, in fact i would suggest that you attend for you need to COMFIRM in your heart and mind that THIS IS NOT THE TRUTH
what you are exp is the normal process of coming to understand the things that we were taught, I encourage you to READ READ READ- by going to the meeting tonight it will allow you to see the serious issues that the religion has.
when you consider that you and i were told that JAH ONLY USES THE ANNOINTED TO DIRECT THE ORG and now we see reg all joe blow elders actually taking control and running things today.
i have been a jw all my life and the number has always hung around 8000 - they seem like they can't break the 8000 mark
when you consider that there are annointed men who are younger why are they not being groomed to take over instead of non anointed guys WHO MANY TIMES ARE THE SAME AGE
there are 2 guys at bethel i know Gary Cash a black bro about 45-50 and a jewish bro about 45, neither one of these guys are being groomed to take over and the reason is simple
wt has taught that there are no YOUNG ANNOINTED and that is why we have for years looked out the corner of our eye at any young person claiming to be and then too look at how goofy MANY times the ones were who claimed to be annointed anyway.
so it maybe good for you to go and see for yourself the foolishness of this religion
but rest assured just as it was not over night that most folks became a jw it will not be over night leaving
i left in 98 and i still suffer from issues related to this religion
many financially- I should be a lawyer today working with the likes of Johnny Cochran instead of sitting here in this servrroom
while i make good money, i could have done well as a lawyer-
i used to find it so impressive when nonjw would say:
"What college did you attend you seem so well read on issues"
thinking to myself that it was due to my Theocratic Training at bethel, now i realize it is almost an insult, while i maybe very comfortable talking to professional folks i know that i DON'T HAVE PAPERS.
