Two scriptures pin down and paralyze all jw's and all jw's,

and ex-jws who still talk about things ( and believe)

doctrines like so called "Governing Body" or the

"faithful and discreet slave class", these are false doctrines.

I am talking here to believers, I am begging you to examine

the basis for this doctrine. Namely: the scripture about the King

who goes away and leaves three servants with some money

"Talents" (could be real personal talent ) Matt 25: 14-30

Two use the "money" and do productive stuff with it

and one buries it in the ground and does not use it.

Jesus said he came so you could have life and have it "to the full"

or abundantly. The WT tells you to put your life on hold and

live it later in the New World/System. Bury your talents and life.

Then they tell you to suppress any good intentions you have

towards your neighbors and community, because the scripture

" I was naked and you clothed me, hungry and you fed me" Matt 25:35

they tell you is about giving your money and time to the Watchtower.

So why ? Do you keep speaking about these doctrines with fear?

Just want to say, I do think that the "Most faithful Christians" statement was intentionally worded with the pending new light in mind. It's not a conflict, it's just vague wording. This isn't unusual when the Society is in the midst of making a doctrinal change.

Apognophos - does it occur to you that the doctrines of Christianity

were defined, unchangeable, by Jesus Christ.

All Christians, Jesus said, are part of the Body of Christ,

"One faith, one hope, one baptism" "neither male or female

but all one in the Christ" No classes, no divisions,

no "governing body" is mentioned in the Bible.

Eight men in New York City do not have

an authority over the Body of Christ, and there is ONE mediator,

between mankind and God and that is Jesus Christ,

no in between, as in: "first you have to go through "them" GB ?

" No "organization" is mentioned in the Bible.

Becuase there is no such thing described in the Bible as a Christian

"visible organization" on earth, todayor since the Jewish Temple,

with the Priesthood, was destroyed in AD 70.

Unless you believe the Catholic Church was the visible organization ?

The Watchtower and the "Governing Body" have shown who they are:

    Matthew 7:15-20
    New English Translation (NET)
15 “Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s

clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves.

16 You will recognize them by their fruit.

How do you Recognize a false Prophet ?

    Jeremiah 14:14
"Then the Lord said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name.

I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them.

They are prophesying to you false visions,..."

(This is what the Watchtower does, false and changeable because

it never comes true, all of their visions are not from Jehovah)

    Deuteronomy 18:22
when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord,(Jehovah )

if the word does not come to pass or come true,

    that is a word that the Lord has not spoken;

the prophet has spoken it presumptuously.

You need not be afraid of him. - He is a False Prophet

I know, villagegirl, I'm not a believing Witness :) I'm just offering my take on the original post.

The RCC has been doing similar things for centuries by selecting out individuals for 'Sainthood' and the other special titles.

That scene in the Book of Revelation that describes the prayers of an elite group as smoke going to heaven I think is what the Wt. uses for its 'small' FDS support.

Ultimately when you get down to it, the F&DS is the priestly class and the rank and file are the common Israelites. It's not like they don't say this explicitly in the literature. But it's worth reflecting on, that they recreated the religious hierarchy of ancient Israel in the guise of a Christian religion. It's just that now the priestly class no longer consists of the whole anointed remnant, but only the septopope.

They have gone as far as saying that the R&F are domestics but not yet classed them as part of Israel or being Israelites. This would cause serious problems to them. The R&F would then be required to partake and become part of the New Covenant, who knows, this may be for the future but requires a lot more doctrinal changes.

Sorry, you're right. Only the anointed are spiritual Israel. I got myself confused by trying to make a logical comparison between Israel and the JWs instead of just sticking to what they teach. I was thinking of how the Israelite priests were mediators between the people and God by performing the sacrifices and maintaining the temple. You'd think that this would mean the JW anointed would be the modern-day priests, but in fact the Society teaches that they are the whole nation, as you said. Is the rank and file actually the foreigner living in their midst, then? Now I can't remember.

Thank you - This is such an important point to try to get across to sincere,

believers caught in the WT cult - The WT has completely obliterated and erased

the original teachings of Jesus Christ and replaced him with themselves.

The "Governing Body/ faithful slave/ sole channel" doctrine wipes out all

vestiges of Christianity in this cult, because Christ came to replace the Priesthood

with himself as sole mediator and channel and to unite us all in one body of Christ.
