Well, I would definately ask a question regarding blood. One that was put to me recently that I could not answer.
If blood is the SYMBOL of life, why would you elevate above the thing itself? Why is blood elevated above the life of a person. By giving more honor to the blood and not accepting the transfusion, you lose your life. Yes, all life belongs to Jehovah, and he can give it back, but still you are going to lose your life now.
And another thing....since when is taking medicine considered "feeding" on it? I don't "feed" on penicillan even tho I have to take it 10 days in a row, 3 times in a day if I have an infection. If I need a blood transfusion, I would not be feeding on it regularly but only briefly, for medicinal purposes. I understand the NOT EATING it.....eg blood sausage, blood puddings, etc.
Everyone needs to remember you don't owe any of them an explanation for failure to attend meetings or share in field service. Remember that there is nothing you can do to convince them of the validity of your position so it is wise to avoid wasting time discussing anything with them.
Be pleasant and polite, but firm. There is no need to give them any information. It is "personal and private".

What gets me is the utter arrogance of these people. They have NO respect for anyone's personal boundaries. It's none of their business why someone tells them to go piss up a rope; to search you out at a new address; to barge themselves into your private life. I have thrown elders out of my home before and I won't hesitate to do it again.
For some reason...I see the "NO TRESSPASSING" sign of the FUTURE:

(4)These steps include but not necessarily by all means:
A) To notify the proper authorities to have you physically removed.
B) Use any object within said Property being trespassed, including: Bats, Guns, Knives, Machettes, Chainsaws, Automobiles, Hair Spray, Mace, (etc. list all you want) to defend said PRIVATE PROPERTY. Which will cause you PHYSICAL HARM, in which should you disregard this entitled WARNING, you (the tresspasser) take full responsibility for any and all MEDICAL TREATMENT costs and/or billing sought for injuries procured on said PRIVATE PROPERTY.

That could explain the two phone calls from my old PO today. He even had the nerve to then call my mother in law (lives out back) and ask her if we were home and avoiding his calls.

Sally, a blood transfusion is NOT eating blood, NOT even briefly! It is not digested in the way that anything “eaten” is. Rather, it remains blood in your arteries and veins and does the work of blood. It is an organ transplant. It is a transplant of another’s organ (blood) into you so that it can perform the same function in you that it did in the donor.
In no way is it a “feeding.” Food is digested, broken down into useful parts and then absorbed through the intestinal wall into the blood stream. The blood stream carries it to its need location. Sugar, for example, may be carried to the muscles where it is burned as a fuel in order to accomplish work. The organ, blood, remains blood and continues its work as a transporter of sugar, proteins, oxygen, buffers, enzymes and a host of other chemical markers. It regulates fluid balances, pH, etc. Through all of these functions, blood remains blood. You can not say that about food.

Hillary, is this another indication that the boys in Brooklyn read this and similar sites?
There has long been a lot of discussion here about fading away rather than following WT rules. Fading has allowed many to continue contact with those inside and to have a somewhat corrosive influence on some insiders.
Sounds to me like this, as usual, is not about “helping” but about ridding themselves of the evil influence of “apostates.” Another “tightening of the screws?”
