The only real reason for doing it tonight is that our nearest and dearest remind us that the JW's are doing it tonight.
That kinda makes it special for no other reason than you remember the date and can get LOTS of people doing it together.

The bread SHOULD be unleavened, so cheese biscuits (wafers) can do, if they have no raising agents.
The wine SHOULD be red, like blood.

Of course if you are just doing it for fun, and aren't worried about the actual symbology of the emblems themselves, by all means crack open a beer and get a pizza in.
