My number 2 son was engaged to a Shreveport gal. She's left England now, so it's all off. However, she always brought a bottle of Wild Turkey when she visited.

I have family in Louisiana, and I've visited there many times.
In fact, there is a cong. in Minden that I attended while visiting. There was a young black sister named Wendy who really enlightened me about some of the overt racism there.
I was surprised to see the study conductor and his son in blue jeans and cowboy boots! (Book study)
This was about 15 years ago I hope things have changed. From what I remember she left the "troof"
