Joel is actually one of those elders sons who Gott to go to a tech school (higher-ed) for electronics/computers. He lived in Rochester, NY, USA for a while (I think that is where he went to school or he Gott his first real Job after graduating).

I don't kniow Joel Gott, or amy of the other Gotts. The name sounds a little familiar to me but I can't place the person at all. I do know the Pendlbury's and the Barone's though. And I knew Bill Mueller and his wife. I don't think any of them are around anymore though. The Muellers that is.
