Sleeping separately?

Is their any good reason for a hubby/wife lovers to sleep separately?

Yeah, if you wake up in the morning and look at your partner and think "what the fuck!?"

I know this may seem quite wierd but I wouldn't mind sleeping serparately sometimes, it's more comfortable. Sure I love to snuggle and cuddle, but then I also like to stretch and and sleep like a starfish.

My ideal marriage would be separate beds, possibly even rooms. Visits for hugs, cuddles, fun etc by either spouse and sometimes staying in the same bed all night, but also having your own space to spread out.

Think it could keep the spark alive a little longer too, if you're not sure whether you're going to spend the night in bed together every night.

But that's probably just me

A California King Bed by yourself, nobody to kick, fart, snore or wake up all hours of the night. That's called a "Good Nights Sleep", than you can invite your spouse into your "love nest" for the cuddles and fun you are fully rested to opperate at peak efficiency.

In my mind, seperate beds in the same room might be an answer to a fidget, kinda hello 1950's. But seperate rooms...i reckon a slippery slope to nothing more than a glorified flat mate.

My husband and I sleep in separate rooms on different floors. I have difficulty with stairs, so my room is on the first floor with an adjustable bed. My husband's room is on the second floor with his queen sized bed. It hasn't hurt our marriage one bit!

Sometimes....I wish I could have the bed all to myself!

My husband and I started with a queen size bed and my husband is a very tall and muscular man, so it was hard, now we have a Cal King bed and I try not to complain because I still remember sleep in a queen bed.
