Don't sweat it, just do your best. If the Bible is true, and Korah and Solomon will get a resurrection, then I wouldn't worry. All we can do is to do our best. Use your DF freedom time to study TTATT. Christ knows your heart. If God is really all knowing, and is love, but has chosen to allow this system to continue and thereby cause suffering to us all, then why would he judged us adversely for being thrown into this situation just from being born?!

Just don't give up or play into the WTBTS guilt trip. Christians do not live their life as if paying a penance continually, that actually shows a lack of faith in the ransom. Which is why the WTBTS is such a guilt driven organization, they do not really know Christ or the Father. It's okay to be saddened if you mess up. That just shows that you have a good heart. You don't need the GB/Organization, they need you. Without your blind devotion, the Organization will disintergrate.

sure they will, except that Armageddon isn't coming. Waiting on Armageddon is a little like waiting for the state of Illinois to pay it's bills, but even more unreliable if you can imagine that.

The wts does not understand what armageddon even is... and being disfellowshipped from/by the wts has absolutely NO bearing on whether or not one belongs to Christ, as a brother OR as a sheep who is invited also into the Kingdom.

Those men - no man - has the right or ability to judge another. Christ calls for use to forgive and to love; not to judge or condemn (unless we want to BE judged and condemned)

    Peace to you,

So you think the elders who cannot read hearts and minds, never make a mistake and df someone who should not have been? The elders themselves admit they are imperfect men. The elders have also failed to discover wrongdoers for years, I remember a CO who had been having affairs with the sisters in his circuits for 20 years before one sister was brave enough to turn him in.

If you truly believe that only God and his appointee Jesus can read hearts and minds, that they are the only ones who know who should be destroyed, being df'd by men should not be frightening.

That also means that those who have hidden their sins from men, will not dodge destruction at God's hands or his appointee, Jesus.

None of the elders died for human's sins; none have the power to forgive and judge. It is unfortunate that many jws think their salvation rests on the judgment of imperfect men.

Well, that is what an honest jw should say.....it's what I would have said over 12 years ago to a frightened df'd jw.

Chichi: This is the first post I've seen from you since you were in such despair that you wanted to die. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we're glad you decided to stick around. My ex brother-in-law was a psychiatrist, and he said that most people just need a period of adjustment and a reality check when they are suicidal.

I read about a young girl about 12-13 years old who was disfellowshipped because she was raped by a neighbor for whom she babysat. I don't think Jehovah/God or anyone else for that matter would consider it justice to re-victimize her when she has already been victimized twice. Add to that the fact that she's a child, and OMG!

I would like you to stop worrying and start living. Why do you think God is so petty and mean? You might benefit by psychological counseling. I hope there is a free clinic in your town if you are unable to pay.

Take care of yourself. Everything will be fine.

    Regards,

    SandraC

    Well that all depends ...

    WT Doctrine: Yes. Absolutely yes.

    Reality: No.

It's all just a manipulative technique to control you through fear. The Catholics have Hell; the WTBTS has Armageddon.

    Fear: Catholic Style

    Dante's Inferno

    Fear: JW Style

DFings would only have eternal consequences if the WTS really spoke for God.

    It doesn't.

Dissfellowshiped ones will die the same way everyone has died since life began on planet earth..

no one will die at argamegedon.. it was canceled due to lack of interest...

way to many people said.. "I'm not interested at the door"

so jesus and jehovah gave up and moved on with their lives... YOU should TOO!

If it is any comfort, according to the Watchtower, countless millions of innocent children who have never even heard of Jehovah or the bible, will be slain and left to rot on the surface of the ground so that loyal followers of the Watchtower can then work in teams to dispose of their rotting corpses. Being dissfellowshipped just puts you in with 99.9% of the rest of human kind who will be killed on that glorious day.

Thankfully much of the Watchtower is pure fiction so we can just take it for what it is, light entertainment. You may as well ask if James Bond or Austin Powers will get a resurrection.
