Copyright of Food at the Proper Time?

1) I wonder why (or how) the WTS can claim copyright over the food it dispenses, given that it says the food is spirit directed and from Jehovah? Surely the copyright should reside with Jehovah himself? Can you copyright god's word(s)?

2) Why does the WTS needs lawyers if everything they say or do is sanctioned by Jehovah and must therefore, and logically, be correct...

Yes, I agree. Like when the WT Legal Department shut down JWSurvey.org for 24 hours for 'breach of copyright' because Cedars had linked to the BOE secret letter on child abuse.

Why would Jehovah's words have to kept secret (they never were in the bible) and why does the WT have the copyright over them?

1) To prevent apostates and other enemies from twisting their words. Even Jehovah's own inspired words are sometimes twisted (saying good is bad and bad is good, etc)

2) Even people that are correct will sometimes be attacked by lies and falsehood and need to defend themselves. Sometimes innocent people get charged with crimes and need to hire a lawyer. It doesn't mean you are guilty just because you have one.

thats right you cant copyright the Bible its in the public domain, but given their thoughts are invention and new is evident by the copyright. You can only copyright stuff you author or create.

You can not buy the book, yo can not read the book in a public library. Why would you want the copyright?

This is like the Cosa Nostra use the copyright in its secret database.

If EVERYTHING they teach is given freely from God, why restrict the copy of the things taught for thorough examination of this " Life savin' message " ?????

Chaserious, Jehovah's words have been twisted but they are there in the bible for all to read and judge for themselves. The point is he never copyrighted them. They are in the public domain for all to use and quote and share.

That still doesn't adress the issue. The bible is available to all, the Mosaic Law, the words of Jesus, the letters of Paul and the other apostles. All in the open. Why do the elder's book and letters to the BOE have to be kept secret?
