Wonderful lazy Saturday morning, drinking coffee, visiting with the kids (who are also not going out in Service).

    Gotta love it!

finally awake - "me! I'm spending the day planting seeds for my garden. i will have tomatos this year!"

Same here! Saturday is allotment day. Busy digging and sowing veg seed. 'I planted, wifey watered, and nature made em grow!' mmmmm tomatoes!

I think Saturday mornings are the best benefit that comes from dropping the JW lifestyle. Even when I was a full blown JW, I would feel guilty when I did stay home on Saturday, even if I had shit to do! Its all that damn guilt they heap on your back, man it sucks.

Once you have fully deprogrammed, Saturday morning is the most relaxing, best time of the week for me. Do what I want, go where I want, sleep as long as I want. And the rest of the weekend is still there, not the exhaustion that comes from returning home after serve-us.

    FU Watchtower.

I never think about Meetings or FS any more,I guess I am becoming an EX-XJW, but I do cherish the time Mrs Phizzy and I spend together, Sat and Sun mornings.

We sit in our "Sun Room" which is a cross between an extension to the house and a Conservatory, and we breakfast, drink coffee and just talk.

No pressure, no time constraint, just each others company, which we cannot manage in the week, at least not every day.

JW's do not get this precious time, is that another reason why their marriages fail ?

I'm thrilled these last 9 years to not be going in service or meetings on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Lots more time for personal relationships , pursuing hobbies and interests, and especially quality time with my dear wife. Which she loves as well ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

    LOIS LANE:

In the early part of my "fade" I was thrilled and grateful since I needed this time to sleep and recharge my batteries since I work. I wasn't interested in what those idiots thought. They're not supporting me.

No way do I miss that waste of time and gas or having to be in a car group with people you can't really be yourself around.

If the religion REALLY had a warning message, they would use the media.

Field service is nothing more than a visible "yardstick" by which the control freaks can measure how zealous, faithful, etc. the people in the congregation are. It is also the religion's claim to fame. All in all, it is a control mechanism in my opinion.

The thought of all this now is ludicrous.

Oh hell yeah! I made money today rather than loose it on gas and wasted time and productivity.

Money is not the root of all evil..... RELIGION IS!
