    Meteorite Explodes Over Russia

    MARCH 4, 2013 | RUSSIA

On February 15, 2013, a meteorite exploded over the southern Ural Mountain region of Chelyabinsk, Russia, injuring over a thousand, damaging buildings, and producing shock waves that blew out windows in many homes. Local Witness elders quickly mobilized to contact all of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in the affected area. At least nine of Jehovah’s Witnesses, including one child, received cuts from flying glass. Also, one house of worship and 75 residences were slightly damaged. Local Witnesses are working to assist efforts to clear damage and debris.

Wrong Cedars....this was not damage, it was just a sign of what would have happened had Jehovah not been there to protect it!

Wouldn't it be funny if it was the only religious building damaged?

This is just paving the way for next BOE letter to roll out the Kingdom Hall Meteorite Assistance Arrangement. (KHMAA) For just $0.08 per publisher per month to the Society, the Kingdom Hall can be now insured against Meteorites.

That's right. The big news story was the damage to the Kingdom Hall. Not the stunning footage of the sonic boom raining glass on school-children, or the collapsed wall of a factory.

    Good catch, there Cedars.

Chaserous, The next BOE letter, asking? wanting? demanding? $0.08 per publisher, to cover Meteorite Insurance for the KHall. That's funny!

Jgnat, We appreciate your never-been-a-Witness, logical and normal thinking.

Thank you. I always appreciate a good laugh.

    Just Lois
