"mentally diseased" is not a psychiatric term so they are safe using it. You on the other hand would be quite safe using that term to define them.
The problem with free speech is that you can get into a lot of hot water by crossing the line

well said steve
Noted Lady Lee, let hope the WatchTower crosses the line.
Lady Lee: Please don't throw around psychiatric diagnoses of the people on the GB as if they were medically diagnosed conditions.
Why not? They do!
Ok, I get your point that the "mentally diseased" label is NOT a medical diagnosis. (Friggin' WT Lawyers). But seriously, they shouldn't dish it out if they can't take it!
Also, it doesn't take a college degree to look at a list of symptoms associated with Narcissistic personality disorder and notice that the WT Leaders exhibit every single one of them!
Does expressing that observation qualify as defamation of character? Or is it just sharing an opinion?
I'm just sayin' is all.

are you going to jump off a bridge just because.... ? lol
I don't think we need to stoop down to their level. I like to think that we are not becoming what they said we would become - angry disgruntled apostates.
Not that I mind being an apostate because I quite clearly am. Personally I left because I didn't want to be like them.
I don't see it that way Lady Lee, we are not becomeing what they are unless we look at this thing with Black and White tunnel vision.
frankiespeakin: "... Black and White tunnel vision ..."
You're mixing your metaphors.
This is a serious sin, Brother. The elders want to talk to you.
why a sudden fear of the GB?
:Strange though, after all the "necessary staff cuts" in the past few years, last year's Branch figures show an INCREASE IN STAFF OF 500. I wonder how many of those forced out feel about this paradox?
Yeah. I overheard one of those forced out say to another one forced out:
"Shit. We should have become lawyers specializing in child abuse cases, too."
Farkel
Fark,
I'm sure this mass layoff that happened in the past where they sent their older ones out to dry with meager retirement allowance and dependant on the mercy of the local congregation they have been assigned to, has not gone unnoticed by those left at Bethel and has caused a big under current of discontent, but this under current is unable to get to the Governing Body's ears or GB tattle tales.
I see mighty distrustful times there at spiritual paradise head quarters as many watch with horror the egotistical conduct of these Corporate Ceos. I'm thinking they/GB might be in deep doodoo right where they lie.
