Society targets JW youths next month - beware!

  JW youths are in for the hard sell in April, poor sods. Next month's meetings sees an in depth review of the society’s video for youths – ‘Young people ask How Can I Make Real Friends?’

  This month’s KM (April), under the headline ‘An Enthusiastic Response!’ tells of one experience which I thought was quite funny:

  A father in the United States said that after viewing it his sons sat silently –

  How enthusiastic a response was that then? – Deafening silence. Apparently this father saw the silence as a sign that his sons ‘could relate to everything in the video’.

  More likely they just couldn’t believe the absolute banality of it and were left speechless.

  I know of Witness kids who watch this stuff, shed a few
  tears and go right back to their double life. The Watchtower
  propagandists will spout some wonderful anecdote about
  this crap ---- and NOTHING will change.

  Never saw the video but I'm sure if I had I would have dumped my non-cult member girlfriend as well as all my other friends from school. Oh, how my life would have been so much better if that video had been put out sooner!

  "Making real friends and being a JW" is a contradiction in terms. To be a Jdub youth you either have to be 2 faced or a big suck hole. Either way the WT are losing a lot of their future membership. In a few years as all the old ones start dropping off, they won't have the money rolling in. I am sure they the WT can see the writing on the wall.

  Apparently the KM writers haven't yet learned how to differentiate between "enthusiasm" and "comatose".

  My soon to be exstep daughter, all of 17, has seen the video and if others pay attention to it as well as she has, the Watchtower is in real big trouble.

  Her and her 25 year old Jehobo boyfriend seem to have no problem sitting out in front of the house in his car, smooching and who knows what else. She has no problem telling we what a "f***ing a**hole" I am. Of course, her 15 year old sister is nothing more than a "f***in' b***ch whore."

  A couple years ago, she was concerned about her undergarments showing over the top of her hip hugger jeans and was discussing this with the dub wife. I "stuck my nose" in and suggested that she buy low cut briefs, not necessarily bikinis. I was invited to "get my nose out of her underwear," as a proper Jehobo girl would never wear such skimpy underwear. Today, she won't wear anything but a thong. (the only reason I know this is because I see the laundry and have overheard her saying how she feels so sexy when "making out" with dub boyfriend, while wearing them)

  So, it looks to me that the video is just another useless piece of information that they can discuss on Sunday and claim how great it is, all the while totally ignoring it.

  If God's Spirit is filling a Kingdom Hall, how is it that Satan can manuever the ones within that Kingdom Hall at the same time?

  How early Dub chidren learn to lie to protect their personal truths,
  learn that silence will be construed as acceptance, learn that questions are permitted only at the bottom of the page in the Watchtower.

  Lord knows what you do even in the privacy of your own home is up to major scrutiny. The fact that the WBTS has stooped down to such a low level is laughable. Do they have to go as far as to advise people how to make friends? Guess so...
