  Rhett, why are you surprise? That's a typical JW attitude! They know it all! Anyways, I enjoyed your comments. Personally, the scandel will come down harder on the witnesses. It's going to make their witness work much tougher. The org. will have to come-up with some excuse, such as, correcting a fault/weakness among certain members instead of them taking the heat. The heat has to be taken away from the org. They have been practicing different PR tactics in response to the up and coming scandel news.

  Perhaps the Dateline people should team up with us Apostates and put a small, virtually invisible camera in one of the KHs one night, and then the next day they can show how a DFd/apostate person gets shunned inside their very own KHs. Then we can all take bets on how quickly the WTBTS will remove that bit of their website's FAQ where they say that people who simply stop being involved are "not shunned" *COUGH*---BS---*COUGH*

  Randy has posted on another string that the police in Oregon are keeping the Bryant family murders or alleged suicides "open," and no doubt Dateline is investigating this tragedy as well. There have been documentaries aired of very small dangerous cults, and the one on the Watchtower Society misleading JWs will also be aired. Meanwhile write letters to your area editors.

  Not to be negative or anything, but when the Dateline segment airs, I doubt that it will have much of an impact on the run-of-the mill dub. I thought the UN scandal would have shook things up, and it did on a small scale, but knowledge of such did not change the opinion of many die-hard dubs. I speak from experience. I shared this with a few of my JW relatives and their attitude was that the society must have had their reasons and until Jehovah spoke from heaven against them, they were staying put.

  Just started a new topic on the Montel Williams discussing the sexual abouse and how its covered up in the Catholic Church. I sent him links to Silent Lambs and told him that the Catholic Church is not the only religion that has covered up sexual abuse.
