    So the WTS did not come to court with an opening brief? But there will be an apellation anyhow?

    Appeal dismissed for failure to file opening brief----So what does this actually signify? does watchtower get another deadline on the 26??. The suspense is killing me.

    Looks like they have until the 26th.

    What I want to know is, is there a penalty for being late?

    They have until the 26th, it is doubtful there is a penalty.

    They are most likely also reaching out to try to make a settlement, but that is clearly not the route this is going.

    The only consequence is that they may have blown their right to further extension of time to file.
