Yep.

I know Zazu, and talk to here from time to time in real time. I also know JAVA, and Outaservice, and Ros before I got on the net. Since them, I have met SilentLambs and his wife, old what's her name. I have also met Stormin Normin, the Norwegian Scholar, as well as Ginny Toskin, who does not live in Boston. I have talked on the Fone with people like Teejay who was not wearing his peejays at the time. I talked to Amazing after the cows came in from grazing. Talked to Farkle, and the conversation was quite a sparkle, talked to Kent, it was fine, but now he thinks, I should get bent, talked to Alan, and I am sure we could be pal en.

Well, I must be off.

I met Skeptic about 6 years ago. I was part of an email xJW group and one of the members gave my name to Skeptic who was in the early stages of his exit from the JWs. I was the closest "real" contact. We had some good conversations, and met one day for lunch.

I was delighted to see him posting here when I first came to the discussion board back in the fall.

I've also met Jim Penton, who posted here for a little while last summer.

My best friends are former JWs. On this particular board I know, or have met: Lee Elder, Amazing, Outaservice, silentlambs, AlanF, Jukief (Mrs. AlanF), RW (rational witness), Randy Watters, Larc, Mulan, Venice and her lovely parents, Mouthy, Belbab, Obed (you'd never guess where), JAVA, and like Mulan, I may think of others I missed.
I know a host of others as well through BRCI and other informal 'apostofest' gatherings.

Oops, I see from Scully's post above that Jim Penton posted here last summer? (How did I miss that!) Well, I guess I better list the Pentons as personal friends on this board as well.

Other than felixa, who I got to know online, then met in person, then married and got to know in the biblical sense , I've only met Rational Witness (RW), who doesn't post here, but used to post at H20.

Go find some nice little puppy dog of a guy who you can beat into submission, and show him your watchtowers. Keep this crap up and I'll tell your dad! No one reports on me!

You are only a few miles from me. If you ever want to meet for a drink let me know. I like helping crazy ex JW people find their balance in life, it's like a pay back thing for the honor of finding my sanity. It's too late for Ven, she's a lost cause and she's just a damn kid!

We probably know some of the same people. Did you go to Tigard or Beaverton congregation?
