I've been sneaking mine into the bin while my husband's been at work. I'm not touching his ones though because he has to make that choice himself.

I agree with you unstopableravens, this was supposed to be called "the truth". So many years wasted.

This box will be thrown away ones the wastepaper collector arrives next time. Two volumes of "Insight" and a couple of Kingdom Ministry's will be added to it.

Iamallcool, thanks for help with pasting the pictures!

Might want to shred them first...

    ...and if they don't shred...

...we will all know they are 'possessed'!

Now wouldn't that be an experience to put in the next yearbook.

John, everyone has their own way of cleansing themselves.

My parents have a ton of books. I plan to sell them. I think I will keep some of the more key ones though. They seem to have more than 1 copy of a lot of books. I have both editions of the blue "Truth" book which clearly shows they altered it. I will keep the red Your Youth book. That's the one that pissed me off. I think I will also keep the Aid book - the one they 'shunned' after the Ray Franz purge.

There are a couple of others that I have to look up that show just how bat-shiite crazy Botchtower is (pretty sure they have "Then Is Finished The Mystery of God", "Revelation, It's Grand Climax At Hand!" and "Babylon the Great Has Fallen! God's Kingdom Rules".) I want to see if they have the May 15, 1984 "1914 The Generation That Will Not Pass Away" mag and the mag with the pics of the kids who died refusing blood transfusions.

    Hi Heaven,

I think, it's time to move on. Too much life wasted unfortunately.

I will keep only Kingdom Ministry, September 1, 2007, which made me seriously doubd 'the thruth', as a remebrance.

Whish you all the best my friend.

I boxed all my books and mags up years ago and took them round to my JW relatives to do with as they pleased. Since being on JWN I actually wish I had kept some for research purposes but I don't know how to ask for them back without telling them what I want them for.
