Anybody here got any ideas about Hedge Fund investments, or do you know of any organizations who could use my donations in such ventures? No, I don't want to support Satan's system - how stupid would that be!!!!
Yup, they sure did. If you examine their divel close enough they pretty much point the finger at others condeming themselve all the time.
So why doesnt the WTS sell everything and buy tv ads to spread the message and save everyone if Armageddon is tomorrow.?

Lets start with reading as there are so many jw who use made up words when they read. One ms gave a talk and emphatically described the roman army as using "parallaxes" when he meant "phalanx". I did a quick look about me and no one semed to have noticed. As i say teach constructive reading for a start.

Re running with satans world. I know jw who are getting older and have NO retirement $$ in any retirement plan at all. The old age pension in Australia is very small and all are entitled to that but it barely buys the necessities. It wont pay for cross country trips to conventions thats for sure.
Savings like these are not our hope but a protection as is motorvehicle insurance. One is an eventuality, that is you will get old and stop full time work so you dont have any retirement plan, and the other an accident or theft of your car is a might happen but you have insurance against that.
With my brush with cancer recently one elder who is top feller asked how we would get on. I mentioned that I have some Superannuation as its called here and he said a resounding "Good!" but then he lives and works in the real world not the Bethel world.
Im sure there is something in the water there?

WOW...i'm going to take your word for it that is what it says (some quotation marks would be nice). but if that is what it says, there is already SO much resentment toward "brothers" who have done well for themselves in the stock market/investments etc. This is just going to give a fresh pile of hatred to all of the already resentful "brothers"....it's like they are trying to destroy their own organization HAHAHAHAHA

Of course, it's okay for WTS to have investments, but not okay for the rest of us. Double standard at its finest.
