Government considered a tax on savings

Banks have been shut, ATMs running out of cash, banks won't open again until Tuesday, maybe

Lots of governments around the world are in financial difficulties, including the U.S. And the U.S. government isn't facing facts and will continue spending and spending until absolutely forced to deal with the deficit.

The world needs to take another look at the way it sees money. Its merely a means of exchange. It is the lubrication for transactions. Money is needed. The huge corps and banks that are hiding it away need to be broken open. Set the money free!

Cyprus has close relations with Greece who is also in bad economic shape. The latter country also has a recently popular fascist party with neo-nazi ties growing quickly and gaining support. Greece/Cyprus= Germany/Austria?.............Maybe Spain can be the modern day Italy of Mussolini' s vision? Would never happen on as large of a scale as during the WW2 era, but could still be a headache for Europeans and the Mediterranean.

Wouldn't it be nice if the world would just say, "War is ridiculously espensive, let's stop that and if we have a disagreement we'll have a dance off!" That would fix a ton of problems

'Cyprus has close relations with Greece'

You could say that. Cyprus and greece have had knives at each others throats for decades. Seems, they might both finally, just pass out. Or, maybe 'someone' is trying to egg on the situation by adding pressure. Money, hmm, banks?? Who controls the money for cyprus?

The way I see it. The people that control the governments profit from war. Look at Dick Chaney, he got in power and robed the US of

    3 trillion dollars.

Throughout history the rich and powerful have always profited from war.

Oh I know, war is one of the major motivators in wealth creation. But it'd be cool if greed didn't also mean death for so many.

Thts not true, Cyprus tried to unite with Greece, which eventually led to the Turkish invasion of the northern half. Your statement is completely wrong.

    mP:

What utter garbage. The only people making money from war are the arms suppliers, everybody else dies or gets injured.

Next your going to tell me blowing up your house and killing your neighbour creates wealth, if that were the case everyone would do it.

Oops. Yah, its tension between cyprus and turkey, which occupies the northern part of the island.
