punkofnice, I don't think it will ever come to that. I'm sure many JW's would drink the koolaid but the JW's are a different brand of cult than the People's Temple or the Heaven's Gate.

Neither do I really. I guess I'm a little tongue in cheek.

Mind you, get another few weirdos on the GB (if that's even possible after Jaracz), and who knows what nutty scheme they'll cook up.

The cognitive dissonance seems to be reaching a boiling point with many JWs, more than 2 years ago, unless I'm imagining it.

I hope many many more wake up.

Hello Mr Freeze :) Sorry but I have to disagree,

Many JW's have already comitted suicide when they refused blood fractions

    that were once banned

also those who comitted suicide from the lack of love for the simple fact

of seein' the WTS for what is was. Thier families toss them like trash

The only difference between the people temple and the WTS

is that the WTS continues to destroy

The Devil is wiser than Jim Jones. Much wiser

Punk of Nice, You are exactly right in your comparison

    Spot on!

............and have the GB apologised, repented or even tried to prevent the waste of life that the GB are directly responsible for?

No! The GB should be given the death sentence for crimes against humanity.

The kool aid has already been, and continues to be served with the unscriptual blood doctrine with over 50,000 deaths, situations like in Malawi where people are raped, tortured, and murdered over dubious doctrine, and suicides due to the disfellowshipping doctrine. They are truly bloodguilty already

I guess I never thought of the blood doctrine as sipping the koolaid but it is a good comparison.

Still, I guess if you want to get technical, I don't think there will ever be an instance where the GB tells all JW's they have to drink the koolaid.

Confirmation bias= the JWs will see what agrees with their religion and ignore what causes them mental anguish.

    Hello Mr. Freeze

Did you say technical ?. What happens to members who no longer want to drink ?????

Can they walk away without repercussion ????

an older pioneer sister.... says, "You heard about the ones that died in a bus crash on the way to the convention???? That was better because everyone that died on their way to the assembly goes straight to paradise because they died doing Jehovahs will!!!"

That's just plain crazy. In that case, all JWs should be looking to die on the way to a crapvention.
