Somehow or other we humanoids like to engage in a form of thinking which will make our life more bearable--and that involves
sort of a POSTIVE mental attitude.
But, nothing wrong with that. Right?
Right.
However, it doesn't seem to stop at that.
We go farther than thinking things will be better. We indulge in a very pleasant state of mind called HOPE.
Hope is what? Hope is wanting something to happen--but--knowing it might NOT happen.
Surely, it is okay to want something GOOD or positive to happen...as long as...you realize that it just may NOT happen.
That is being reasonable and remaining positive.
HOPE contains the awareness of defeat.
But, do we settle for that? Nope.
We go still farther.
We can use our imagination to stimulate even more than hope.
We can impose complete confidence (which makes us feel way better) by IGNORING the possibility of failure or defeat.
This is where we drift into the deep waters of......FAITH.
Faith and Hope are not synonyms by any means. They may be kissing cousins.
Hope is wanting something to happen--but--knowing it might NOT happen. Faith is claiming something will happen while denying the real possibility it will not.
Red Flag Red Flag Red Flag
The most dangerous thing we can do is to pretend to know something we, in fact, do not know.
You may as well attempt brain surgery on yourself.
When you connect God and morality to this kind of thinking what can go wrong? Hmmmm?
Pretending to know things you do not know does not make you a moral person.
Impersonating a doctor want enable you to operate on them with disasterous results.
And yet---as Jehovah's Witnesses we are actually IMPERSONATING an emissary from a Divine All-Knowing Being!
What happens to Elvis impersonators? Do they actually "become" Elvis? Or, are they just sort of ridiculous objects of mirth?
Well, I don't know--but--I do know Jehovah's Witnesses (for all their pretending to be important to Jehovah) are not qualified
to counsel people with emotional and mental problems. They aren't qualified to handle cases of rape, incest or child molestations.
They aren't qualified to interpret historical matters. They aren't qualified to translate texts.
THEY HAVE FAITH THAT THEY CAN.
Such faith is nothing more than PRETENDING to know something which they DO NOT know and practising it on others!
When you think of a car filled with JW's driving into a neighborhood you are describing an automobile filled with delusional thinkers
about to perpetrate a fraud!
People pretending to be able to speak for an invisible deity are going to impersonate ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE.
Guess what? You can't pretend to know what you, in fact, do not know without being delusional.
Jehovah's Witnesses have FAITH. It is a PROXY, however. All the "information" they have has exploited their willingness
to be competent as ministers without actually having mastered any subject necessary for that competence!
The ministry is one of FRAUD and SELF-DECEPTION which is unwitting. They have been used because of their "Faith".
So, what can we conclude? Is Faith a bad thing for Jehovah's Witnesses?
Before you answer that---ask yourself a different question.
Would you want to go to a Doctor who graduated from medical school or one who simply had FAITH they were fully competent to treat you?
What about a dentist who had faith---but no official medical training?
Would you trust your family's finances to an accountant who pretended to KNOW how investments work?
You see---incompetent people instructed by other incompetent people may have hopeful good motives in their heart--YET--be capable of doing
a lot of UNINTENDED HARM.
The bottom line is that Jehovah's Witnesses are good, kind-hearted people for the most part who are victims of FAITH.
The pretend to know what they have no training or fact-based knowledge to back up that confidence.
They are counselors, instructors, teachers of morality, child rearing specialists, advisors, confidantes and such with
ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY of their own authorization!
IT IS ALL IMAGINARY.
This is why they are dangerous impersonators.
