Yes. Firmness matters. I successfully fed something like this to my meat-and-potatoes man.

Another great way to eat tofu is as a dessert, pre-mixed with fruit, bought that way from the store.

Yes. This is better than scrambled eggs:
Saute a couple of tablespoons each of chopped onion, green pasilla chile, red bell pepper and oil in a skillet. Break up half of a 12 ounce tub of medium-firm tofu and add to the skillet mixture. Add salt and pepper, a 1/2 tsp. each of turmeric and paprika. Saute all together for a few minutes, browning some of the onion and the tofu. Serves one.
Quite tasty and quite a beautfiul dish.

I add small cut chunks in soups and salads, its good for you.
